FIVE local youngsters represented Wales in the Under-21 Wales v England Championships at Earlswood Bowling Arena, near Llansamlet.
Tomos Powell, Iwan Davies, Dafydd Jones and Ffion Jones, from Rhydlewis Short Mat Bowling Club, and Madison Hands, from Manordeifi Short Mat Bowling Club, showed exceptional skills in close-fought matches throughout the day before England were finally declared winners.
