Newcastle Emlyn ladies' first team turned on the style as they beat Cardiff University thirds 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Hockey Wales Trophy competition on Sunday in Cardiff.
Despite playing in a league below, Emlyn took control of the tie with goals from Sara Patterson and Enfys Davies, with Sioned Davies named as player of the match.
Emlyn will now go on to play in the final on May 7/8 in Swansea.
In division two of the South Wales league, Emlyn consolidated their position at the top of the table by beating Clwb Hoci Cymric firsts 3-1 on Saturday, March 19.
The players of the match were Ellie Lloyd and Ffion Davies.
