Cardiganshire Football League Cup final between Llandysul and Maesglas
With all action in the Costcutter Football League suspended because of the coronavirus crisis a wide variety of memorabilia have surfaced.
This 38-year-old poster in pristine condition was for the Cardiganshire Football League Cup final between Llandysul and Maesglas at Square Field, Aberaeron, on Easter Monday, April 12, 1982.
Llandysul lifted the coveted trophy for the first time two seasons previously while it was a first final appearance for the Blues.
A first half Huw ‘Dans’ Jones header was enough to bring glory to Maesglas who embarked on a golden era, winning trophies galore throughout the 1980s.
