When the pool league in Cardigan suspended all activity because of the Covid-19 crisis the Cardigan & District Darts League continued for one batch of fixtures.

But with the closure of all public houses there is no prospect of anyone toeing the oche in the foreseeable future.

As it stands there are two lots of league fixtures remaining and also the Teifi Furniture Singles Cup, which was scheduled for April 8 and Phil Noble Singles Competition due to be played on April 15.

A league official said: “With licensed premises closed we had no option but to suspend the programme. There are only a few fixtures outstanding and if the situation changes we will hope to complete the season.”
