For followers of WRU League 1 West top two Llangennech and Newcastle Emlyn all roads lead to Main Field in the Carmarthenshire village on Saturday for a game that could have a major bearing on the title race.

As it stands Llan are three points ahead of the Teifisiders but have played a game more than Alex Williams and Co as the rivals gear up for the run-in to the end of the campaign which they hope will lead to championship glory.

After the big one, the Llanelli high-flyers are home to third-placed Felinfoel before visiting fourth in the table Hendy.

Away games follow against Penclawdd and Gorseinon then the return against Emlyn in the Teifi Valley on April 25 which brings down the curtain on their season.

A week on Saturday the Red and Whites host Hendy then are away in a local derby clash with Crymych before visiting relegation-threatened Llanelli Wanderers.

The final three games are against basement boys Pembroke, the return versus Llangennech and a second clash with Crymych.

In the same division Crymych are in the relegation zone as they fight for survival one point behind third from bottom Llanelli Wanderers with a game in hand.

On Saturday the Preselimen host Gowerton and a week later it’s the crunch bottom of the table game at Pembroke before hosting Emlyn.

On April 18 they visit Aberystwyth then it’s the return against Pembroke and Emlyn before a final fixture at home against Penclawdd.

League 3 West A mid-tablers Cardigan visit Tregaron this weekend before hosting leaders Lampeter the following week.

An away clash with third from bottom Neyland is followed by home and away games against Haverfordwest, a visit to fourth-placed Aberaeron and end of season game against visitors Laugharne.
