Newcastle Emlyn ladies hockey team could only manage a 1-1 draw against visitors Abergavenny in division two of the South Wales Women’s Hockey League.
Currently lying fifth they have a game in hand over teams above them. While leaders Cardiff University are out of sight, Emlyn remain in touch with the following pack.
