Newcastle Emlyn of League 1 West looked to be on the way to round four of the WRU Plate at League 1 West Central Brynaman before the game was abandoned due to an injury sustained by the referee.
The Teifisiders were leading 17-5 with tries by prop Emrys Davies and centre Teifion Davies when eight minutes before half time referee Jamie Morgan of Ystradgynlais was involved in a collision with a player in which he suffered a nasty gash above the knee.
The official could not continue and the game was abandoned. It will be replayed this coming Saturday.
