Newcastle Emlyn women’s hockey team strengthened their case for a fine finish to the season in division two of the South Wales Women’s League with a 2-0 win over Whitchurch Saints 4ths.
Currently sitting in third place they closed the gap on frontrunners Abergavenny Ladies but both teams are trailing Cardiff University Ladies 4ths by a massive margin.
