League 1 West high-flyers Newcastle Emlyn visit the Amman Valley next month to take on Brynamman of League 1 West Central in the WRU Plate round four.

The game is expected to attract a sizeable crowd to the Gwter Fawr ground on November 16 with a last 16 slot beckoning the winners.

Although at the third round stage it will be an initial foray for Brynaman after being given two home walkovers when League 2 West Central opponents Resolven and Aberavon Quins failed to fulfil the ties.

The Carmarthenshire villagers have played four league games including a home clash with Dunvant at the weekend and occupy a mid-table position.

After relegation from the Championship at the end of last term Emlyn have fired on all cylinders from the start of the campaign,

Alex Williams and Co have also been unstoppable in two home Plate encounters when springing a 27-17 win over fellow leaguers Hendy in round one and sweeping aside Nantgaredig of League 2 West 55-0 in the previous round.
