LARGE crowds are expected at St Dogmaels on Sunday (May 26) for the second annual family fun day in memory of a stalwart of the village football club who was killed in a road accident.
Steff Thomas aged 32, who was a former player and committeeman, was killed outside Cardigan in October 2017.
Steff’s Fun Day at the School Field ground is from 10.30am until 11pm, the main football game between newly-crowned Costcutter League champions St Dogmaels and The Welsh Fans with a junior tournament also likely to prove popular.
Attractions include a licensed bar, a wide variety of stalls, including ‘beat the ‘keeper’, ’hook a duck’, tombola, darts poker, face painting, glitter tattoos, bouncy castle and much more.
Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day with John Walters as MC.
Proceeds go to the local club and the Wales Football Supporters charity Gol which was close to Steff’s heart.
The organisers wish to thank the many sponsors for their generous support.
