THERE seems to be no stopping Crymych boxing twins Garan and Ioan Croft at the moment as they notched up a memorable national double.

Hot on the heels of their recent success on the international stage, the Cardigan ABC starlets have now added Welsh ABA championship success to their growing resumés.

The 17-year-old bricklaying apprentices – coached at their home club by dad Guy – entered the Welsh championships in Cardiff brimming with confidence.

And that was certainly not misplaced as both came out on top with unanimous 5-0 points wins over their respective opponents.

In the 60kg youth category, southpaw Iaon clinched his title as he fought his way to victory over Harry Roberts, while in-form Garan followed suit in the 64kg youth section as he proved too hot to handle for rival Callum Green.
