Friends at Llechryd Cricket Club joined in extending congratulations to cricketer Olivia North whose burgeoning talent has again been recognised by the Wales junior cricket selectors.

Olivia, a student at Llandovery College, was chosen for the Wales Girls Under 13s last year and has now been selected for the Under 15s squad.

A Llechryd club spokesperson said: “We are all delighted for Olivia and sure she will again do well for her country.”
