Tense action and high quality throwing marked the annual Blind Mixed Pairs tournament involving players of the Cardigan and District Darts League and Cardigan Ladies League at the Red Lion Inn.
At the semi-final stage Craig Williams (Lamb) and Jane McGinlay (Tafarn Yr Oen) sprang a 2-0 win over Dan Jones (Lamb) and Mair Thomas (Saddlers) while in the other semi-final Steve Jerry Williams (Tafarn Yr Oen) and Lesley Fletcher (Rugby Club) won by an identical score against Gareth Francis (Lamb) and Jan Quinn (Grosvenor).
There was no family love in evidence during the final as Steve Jerry Williams clashed with son Craig Williams and it was vastly experienced Williams senior and Lesley Fletcher who came out on top 3-0.
