There was a major upset in the Cardigan & District Pool League when champions for the past two seasons Red Lion went down 6-4 against house rivals Llew Coch.

Dan Dutnell achieved an eight ball clearance to make it 4-0 to the Llew, but showing true fighting spirit Dominic Williams and his champs made a fight of it before losing.

Defeat for Red Lion and a 9-1 win for Lamb A over Lamb B sent Lamb, for whom Gary Murtagh achieved an eight-baller, eight points clear at the top.
