NEW Cardigan Golf Club captain Roy Richards was well supported over the Christmas period in the various turkey trots he arranged.
There were 10 competitions in all, with only one having to be called off due to the weather.
The results were as follows:
Saturday December 1, two-ball Texas scramble: Winners Andy Rodda and Rob Clark, 46 points.
Sunday, December 2, three-man swindle: Winners Peter Ward, Terry Hammett and Cedric Hall, 76 points.
Sunday, December 9, full handicap stableford: Winner Peter Merryweather 36 points on countback from runner-up Barrie Davies.
Sunday, December 16, four-man yellow ball: Winners Alun Rees, Malcolm McHugj, Gareth Lewis and Vaughan Jones, 123 points.
Saturday, December 22: four-ball better ball: Winners Craig Thompson and Vaughan Jones, 44 points; runners-up Nigel Gooch and Rich Griffiths, 42 points.
Sunday, December 23: Winners Sam Adamson, Dyfed Jones and Jac Emanuel on countback.
Saturday, December 29, four-man Texas scramble: Winners Owen Jones, Robin Griffith, Tom Davies and Kevin Hickman, nett 58.3.
Tuesday, January 1, four-man Texas scramble: Winners Henry Malloy, Jac Emanuel, Casey Walters and Gerald Morris, nett 59.5.
