Like five opponents before them Cardigan were outplayed by Milford Haven in League 3 West A as the Mariners strolled to a 32-12 win at King George V Playing Field.
A sixth win on the trot for the Observatory ground high-flyers left them two points behind leaders Neyland with as many games in hand.
After trailing by ten points at the break the Cardis made a bit of a recovery but were later swept aside by the visitors who won in style.
For the Pembrokeshire title favourites scrum-half Dan McClelland led the try scoring with a brace, all-action openside flanker Ryan Mansell also got on the scoresheet as did fullback Joseph Kiff, winger James Trueman and outside half Ifan Morgan with Trueman landing one conversion.
Player/coach and No. 8 Colin Davies and lock Sion Phillips touched down for the homesters with young outside half Iwan John adding a conversion.
