A hugely successful horse-racing evening was held at the White Hart public house in St Dogmaels organised by members of the village football club.
Proceeds were in aid of the Wales Supporters Charitable organisation Gôl!, chosen by former club stalwart the late Steff Thomas, and also club funds.
Races were sponsored and prizes donated by the following: HSBC Cardigan; Daioni; Teifi Kitchens; B V Rees; R J Financial Planning Ltd; Yuasa and G S Battery; JJ’s Taxis; Lamb Inn, Cardigan; Gloss Nails; Spar, North Road, Cardigan; Tom Samways, Butchers; Gethin of Grow It Mow It; Diane of OM Laundry; Wyn Mathias of Garage Wyn; Siani Martin of Renaissance; Emma Edwards; Len and Mandy Walters, Cardigan Bay Fish; Adam Cole, Dragon Wine Bar.
The sum of £230 has been donated to Gôl! and anyone wishing to support the charity can do so on golcymru.org
Organisers thanked owners and staff at the White Hart, host John Walters, bookmakers Richard James and Cath Murphy; Wyn and Kathryn Rees and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
