Scrambling enthusiasts heard with deep regret of the death last week of south Ceredigion ace of yesteryear Bill Gwynne.
A former pupil at Cardigan Grammar School, he lived in Sarnau before moving to live at Banbury in Oxfordshire where he died on Tuesday, aged 77.
Up until recently he took part in the annual Teifiside Motor Club annual Welsh Classic Championship and in his teens was a works rider with Greaves, winning the Welsh Championship in 1957, 58 and 59.
