Cardigan Bowling Club played its final inter-friendlies on Sunday, August 26. The weather changed in time for the game to be played outdoors with the sun coming out as if to order at 2.30pm. Like all friendlies, though scoreboards are used it is always considered an honourable draw on completion of the game.
This coming Saturday, September 1, Cardigan will host a seven-rink touring side from the Nailsea Bowling Club, north Somerset. They will play Lampeter on the Friday, Cardigan on the Saturday and travel to play Aberaeron on the Sunday before travelling home on the Monday.
There is entertainment laid on at the Cardigan bowling club that Saturday night commencing at 9pm? There is no entry fee and all are welcome.
