Two former Newcastle Emlyn rugby players were among the outstanding performers in Wales’s 34-7 demolition of Scotland in the Six Nations on Saturday. Standing in for Rhys Webb, Davies made a very convincing claim for the No 9 shirt with this performance that included a spectacular early try, the first of this year’s tournament, after only six minutes.
