There was keen competition during the ladies singles championship in the Cardigan & District Darts League with winner for the first time beinf licensee of the Masons Arms, Cilgerran, Francine Barber who threw consistently throughout.

At the semi-final stage Francine overcame Mair Thomas of the Red Lion 2-0 while in the other semi Jen Quinn of Grosvenor also won 2-0.

Francine was in sparkling form in the final as she notched a 2-0 win over Jen.

On the league front champions Tafarn Yr Oen took another step towards retaining the title with a 6-1 win over Hope A while second in the table Red Lion kept the pressure on the pacesetters with a 5-2 win over visitors
