A SUSPICIOUS package found by police near Rosebush yesterday afternoon (Friday, May 10) is under police investigation.

Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a suspicious packed in the Rosebush area yesterday from a member of the public.

Police officers assessed the package, and advice was sought from specialist resources.

The package was safely retrieved, and the bomb squad, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), was called.

EOD assessed the package and confirmed it was not explosive.

No one was injured or unwell in connection with the package.

On Twitter, Dyfed-Powys Police said: "An investigation is underway to find the source of the package, and anyone with any information, or who has seen anything suspicious in the area of Rosebush and Clynderwen is asked to contact police."
