THE block paving next to the Bertie the Seabass sculpture has been damaged after someone attempted to remove the sign.
Pembroke Dock Town Council is appealing for any one with information to get in touch.
A spokeswoman for the town council said: "Unfortunately there have been some attempts to remove the information sign for Bertie the Seabass, which has resulted in damage to the block paving outside the library.
"Bertie has been all over the County with no other town having any issues resulting in damage, yet it has come to Pembroke Dock and there have been 2 attempts to cause damage to the structure since it arrived 2 weeks ago.
"Pembroke Dock has been given a fantastic opportunity to showcase Bertie the Seabass and it sadness us to see this opportunity being abused.
"If anyone has any information regarding the damage or witnesses anyone attempting to damage the structure please contact the local policing team on 101 or notify us at the Town Council offices in Dimond Street."
