A Castle with a history stretching back 2,000 years will host some of the finest classic cars and vintage vehicles on Monday, May 6.

Carew Castle, which is managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, will once again welcome eye-catching cars, motorbikes and military vehicles at the annual event.

Carew Castle and Tidal Mill Manager, Daisy Hughes said: “There must be something about seeing these lovingly preserved vehicles against the backdrop of a Castle that has been carefully conserved by the National Park Authority for many years, as this event continues to be one of our most popular.”

This year’s event will also include motorbike trials and a moving military vehicle display throughout the day.

The new spring menu at the Castle’s Tearoom will be available all day for visitors to enjoy as well as hot drinks as they admire the marvellous motors.

Children will be able to enjoy the Robin Hood Treasure Trail for £1, while the majestic Castle and Tidal Mill will be open for all to explore and find out more about the fascinating events and colourful characters that shaped this site’s fascinating history.

The Classic Cars at Carew Castle event will take place from 10am-4pm with the Castle open from 10am-5pm. Normal admission charges apply: Adults £6, Children £4, Concessions £5 and a Family Ticket (two adults and two children) £16.
