A MAN was rescued from the bank of the Western Cleddau river at Uzmaston, after falling while running yesterday (Thursday, April 11).
The 39-year-old man is believed to have slipped on the rocks and fallen down the embankment, suffering spinal injuries.
Fire crews from Milford Haven, Haverfordwest and Carmarthen attended the scene near the Old Barn at Uzmaston.
The fire service rescued the man using an inflatable boat and then handed him over to the ambulance service.
A spokesman for the fire service said the first fire crew arrived at the scene at 3.06pm and stood down at 4.38pm.
