A TENBY pub took to Facebook hoping to reunite a cuddly little monkey with its owner.

The little soft toy monkey was found outside The Evergreen Inn, The Green, on Saturday, February 9.

Tivyside Advertiser:

Whether the playful primate was a much-loved cuddly companion, or a lucky mascot for the Wales-Italy game is currently unknown, but the Evergreen is keen to reunite the charming creature with its rightful owner.

Posting on Facebook, The Evergreen wrote: “This lovely monkey was dropped outside the Evergreen on Saturday. We would love to reunite him with his owner. He's warm and cosy in the bar. Please let us know if you recognise him.

“He’s warm and dry, making himself at home. Still looking to reunite him with his owner. Dropped on Saturday. Please share as someone is probably missing this cuddly friend now.”

Since the primate's plight was picked up by the Western Telegraph, the little monkey has been reunited with his young owner.
