A driver who died when his car left the road had suffered a medical episode, police have confirmed.
The death happened in the early hours of yesterday (Thursday) morning.
A car had left the A40 carriageway and collided with a hedge.
The road was closed between Canaston Bridge and Haverfordwest for several hours while police examined the scene.
This afternoon (Friday) police said a post mortem examination has concluded that the person died as a result of a medical episode.
Therefore this is no longer being investigated as a road traffic collision.
No details of the deceased have been released.
