HAVERFORDWEST’s monthly Memory Cafe is free and open to anyone living with memory loss and their carers/loved ones.

It is held from 10.30am-12.30pm on the last Friday of every month in the Picton Centre.

This year there is an enjoyable line-up of events and activities planned for the cafe.

The cafe will hold for its first meeting of the year on January 25 with a trip down memory lane with a session run by the Life Works Project.

There will be lots of everyday objects and sporting memorabilia from yesteryear to handle and reminisce about over tea and biscuits.

Later in the year we have more art sessions with the VC Gallery, singing with Rosita Roles and the Music Man and we are even planning to introduce Walking Football sessions.

So come and join us.

The Memory Cafe is also here to help anyone with concerns or questions about dementia.

PAVS, the Alzheimer’s Society and Hafal Crossroads representatives are always on hand to give you practical support and advice.

The Memory Cafe is supported by Haverfordwest Town Council.

It was set up in 2018 to give those living with dementia and their carers and fun, friendly and supportive place to meet others like them and find advice.
