NARBERTH Civic Week donations of £500 to local organisations have enabled its retiring chairman, Councillor Elizabeth Rogers, to end her time at the group's helm on a high.
Councillor Rogers, who is also the mayor of Narberth, has chaired the Civic Week committee for 13 enjoyable years. She has decided it is now time to step down from the role, wishing the committee every success for the future.
The committee's agm saw donations of £200 to Narberth First Responders, £100 each for SwimNarberth and the Living Memories Group and £50 each for Narberth Scout and Guide Hut and Templeton YFC.
