THE TEAM behind the super successful Orange Country Hoedown has handed over a huge cheque for £3,630 to Paul Sartori in honour of the late Luke Harding.

Throughout his battle with cancer Luke raised over £30,000 for local charities.

The money was raised at The Orange Country Hoedown event, held at The Fishguard Bay Hotel, on 15th September 2018, when Fishguard Ladies Circle, Fishguard and District Round Table, 41 Club and Tangent members pulled out all the stops to throw a Country and Western themed party like no other.

"We are truly grateful for the support of all the local businesses and organisations that donated to our event and for the local community who bought tickets and truly embraced the spirit of our night by dressing up and partying the night away," said Ladies Circle chairman, Lisa Devonald.

"A heartfelt thank you goes out to Peter and Alex Harding and all the family who supported us in holding this event in honour of their wonderful son Luke Harding who inspired us to do more, help each other and taught us what we can all achieve if we work together."
