DOCTORS’ surgeries across Pembrokeshire are having problems with their phone systems today due to a UK-wide network issue.
Argyle Medical Group and Preseli Practice have both made announcements on Facebook that their telephone networks are currently out of action, but they are hoping the connection will be restored soon.
Both medical groups posted similar statements, which said: “Unfortunately there is a national network issue which is affecting our phone lines.
“We are working closely with a support team to rectify this problem as soon as possible.
“We hope our telephone system will be running as normal shortly.
“We thank you for your patience during this time.”
The surgeries advised that anyone in need of urgent medical attention to dial 999.
For other general enquiries ring 111.
Argyle Medical Group is responsible for Argyle Street Surgery, Pembroke Dock and St Oswald’s Surgery, Pembroke Dock.
Preseli Practice runs the Bro Preseli Community Care Resource Centre, Crymych and Newport Surgery on Long Street.
