A new memorial wall in Tenby War Memorial Gardens has been blessed during this morning's Remembrance service.
The wall, featuring a marble plaque around 90 names of those who died as a result of active service, was given a prayer of blessing by the Rector of Tenby, Canon Andrew Grace.
The names are in addition to those commemorated on the war memorial, and had been meticulously researched by former town mayor, John Griffiths.
The project has been part-financed by Tenby Town Council, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and public donation, including a contribution of £2,500 from Tenby Freemasons.
The members of the nearby Masonic Hall have also pledged a further £500 per year for the next five years for the upkeep of the war memorial gardens and its floral displays.
