PEMBROKESHIRE is likely to experience flooding today as well as power cuts and public transport delays due to oncoming heavy weather.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning covering all of Pembrokeshire for this afternoon from 1pm (Friday, November 9).

The warning lasts until 11pm tonight.

Flooding has already affected Milford Haven as well as other areas of the county.

In Pembroke, the Commons has flooded, and in Haverfordwest a large tree has been spotted floating through the river in the centre of town.

The Met Office says people should expect:

- flooding in some homes and businesses

- fast or deep flowing flood water which could cause a danger to life

- delays and cancellation to bus and train services

- spray and flooding leading to difficult driving conditions

- a good chance of communities cut off by flooded roads

- power cuts and other loss of services to some homes and businesses
