The organisers of the Pembrokeshire County Run are hoping for another fantastic turn-out as the annual drive through Pembrokeshire’s stunning scenery celebrates its 21st year.

Vehicles and motorbikes of all ages from all over the UK will again be taking part in this year’s run, ranging from cars and bikes from the early days of motoring to kit and sporty hatchbacks of the 21st century.

The run itself will both start and finish at the Pembrokeshire County Showground and circumnavigate the county following a route of about 85 miles on “A” class roads, including a halfway stop at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm and a motorcade around the historic town of Cardigan.

Run organisers Jeff and Sian Edwards are extremely grateful to all sponsors, in particular the Western Telegraph, Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, the marshals who make the run possible and Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society for the use of their magnificent showground and their general help and assistance.

This year, the Pembrokeshire County Run’s chosen charity is the Paul Sartori Foundation. Every penny of the cover charge of the Western Telegraph programme will go to them.

“We hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable motoring tour and we look forward to seeing you again on our Pembrokeshire County Run on September 2,” said Jeff and Sian.

“Thank you all for your continued support.”

Vehicles wishing to take part in the run should arrive at Haverfordwest Showground (via Gate 3) between 8.30am and 10am. The run will depart at 10.30am.

Geoff and Sian would particularly like to thank the following sponsors for their continued support:

Haven Tyre Company
