A Cardigan venue will be broadcasting The Marriage of Figaro from the Royal Ballet & Opera.

Mwldan will present the first broadcast event of the Royal Ballet & Opera's 2024/2025 season.

This captivating drama unfolds on two dates, September 10 and 15 at 6.30pm and 2pm respectively.

The plot of The Marriage of Figaro revolves around Count Almaviva and his ill-starred love intrigue.

He resides with his Countess on their estate near Seville.

The Count's amorous interest drifts to Susanna, the maid of his wife, who is committed to marrying Figaro, the servant of the Count.

Meanwhile, Cherubino, the youthful page of the Count, has a crush on the Countess.

Amidst these complex relationships, Figaro is determined to counteract the Count's intentions towards his bride-to-be and marshals the aid of the Countess, Susanna, and Cherubino – all of whom engage in a labyrinth of mistaken identities and thwarted plans with the entire household ensnared in the ensuing mayhem.

Tickets to the screening of the performance can be bought for £18 (£17). They can be purchased 24/7 from the Mwldan website or by phoning the box office at 01239 621 200 between 12pm-8pm, Tuesday - Sunday.
