A local establishment has been named in The Good Food Guide’s annual 100 best local restaurant list for 2024.
Yr Hen Printworks in Cardigan was voted one of the best restaurants in Wales.
60,000 votes were cast in the competition before the food guide’s team of expert inspectors anonymously ate in numerous restaurants across the county.
Owner of Yr Hen Printworks, Chris Welch said: "Hearing that we had made The Good Foods Guides top 100 local restaurants for a second consecutive year was just fantastic.
"We are lucky to have such a great team at the Printworks. Each and every one of them cares, and this shows in the service we provide throughout the restaurant.
"A special mention to our Head Chef, Chris Walker. His hard work, creativity and commitment to his role just shows what can be done in a relatively short space of time.
"With ourselves and all the other fantastic independent businesses throughout Cardigan creating something special, our town has something to be proud of."
Yr Hen Printworks has 161 reviews on Tripadvisor with an average rating of four and a half stars out of five.

“We opted for the heritage tomatoes with ricotta and olive and caper dressing, Cardigan Bay crab with hazelnut and white cabbage and fish cake with pickled cucumber and curried mayonnaise.
“This menu isn’t trying to be clever – it’s just simple, fresh, local ingredients, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked in relaxed and friendly surroundings.
"All served by absolutely charming young staff – all of whom have clearly been very well trained.
“The wine list is comprehensive and very reasonably priced, and we opted for a young French rose which complemented our dinner very well. We loved Yr Hen and can’t praise it highly enough.
Another review from July said: “What a find! The food is stunning and was freshly prepared by the amazing staff. Thank you, Logan and the team, for your professionalism and knowledge with food and drinks.
“We were squeezed in last minute as they were so busy and made me feel so welcome. This restaurant is an experience! Wonderful cocktails, ambience and a very special evening.”
