A TEIFI man will be sentenced next week for trying to communicate with a child.
Gareth Pilcher, 26, of Heol Llyn y Fran, Llandysul, admitted four charges relating to inappropriate communication with and indecent images of a child at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 30.
He admitted attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child under 16 between August 22, 2021, and August 26, 2021.
He also admitted being in possession of an image of extreme pornography on October 21, 2021.
Pilcher also admitted that on October 21, 2021, he was in possession of an illegal image of a child and a charge of possession of an indecent category A video of a child.
He has been granted conditional bail but must register with police. He will be sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on December 13.
