TWO people have appeared in court for offences in Tivyside.

Aled Wyn Sadler, 46, of Carway, Kidwelly, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 27.

He was caught on February 4 doing 35mph on A484 Cardigan Road in Newcastle Emlyn where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £66 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge.

James Andrew Davies, 26, of Clos Y Fferm, Aberporth, admitted breaching a community order at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 27.

He was given a community order by the court on April 14 and failed to attend probation appointments on May 9, May 30, June 6 and June 16.

He was fined £60, and his community order was varied. He must now carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and the rest of the initial community order is to continue.
