TWO people from Newcastle Emlyn have recently appeared in court and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a third resident.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Ryan Evans, 19, of Maes Arad, Newcastle Emlyn.
Evans failed to appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 21. He is charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker in relation to the assault of a police officer on April 23.
Lee Jenkins, 42, of High Street, Newcastle Emlyn, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 22 where he was found guilty of failing to provide information.

The offence was committed when he failed to provide the information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle believed to have been involved in an offence on March 28. He was fined £660 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
Daniel Richards, 36, of Station Road, Newcastle Emlyn, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 22 where he was found guilty of driving without insurance.
He was caught on the A484 Llechryd on February 20. He was fined £440, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
