THREE people from the Tivyside area have recently appeared in court charged with driving offences and breaching community orders.

Taylor Watts, 25, of Pentregat, Llandysul, was found guilty of failing to provide information relating to the identity of a driver by Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 5.

He was found guilty of not providing the relevant information relating to the identity of a driver believed to have been involved in an offence when asked by Dyfed-Powys Police on March 15.

He was fined £415.38 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay £51 surcharge and £90 costs.

Ifan Lloyd Bryant, 19, of Sunny Hill, Llandysul, admitted using a phone while driving at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 7.

He was caught using his mobile on January 21 and was fined £83. He was given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

James Andrew Davies, 26, of Clos Y Fferm, Aberporth failed to attend Aberystwyth Justice Centre on July 13 where he was due to appear on charges of failing to comply with a community order. A warrant has been issued for his arrest without bail.

Saul McGrath, 18, of Bro Teifi, Cardigan, admitted breaching his community order at Aberystwyth Justice Centre on July 13.

He failed to attend probation appointments on May 23 and 30. The court ruled that the order should continue and he was fined £120 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
