Last year, St Dogmaels Community Council made changes to the Village in Bloom competition with residents asked to submit photos as entries. This was due to covid but proved so popular that they are keeping it for 2022.

Classes for this year are: the Best Formal Garden, the Best Wild Garden and the Best Container Garden.

There is also an art competition for children. The artwork can be done through any medium but must be of a garden to include and trees, flowers, wild plants and wildlife you can find in gardens.

The age groups for the art competition are: 4-7, 8-11 and 12-16. First place in each group will win a prize.

To enter the art competition, leave the entry with the entry form at the Village Post Office. The form can be found at http://stdogmaels.org/village-in-bloom-2022/

Residents should submit up to three clear photos of their garden to enter the garden classes to StDogmaelsinBloom@gmail.com.

Judges may then make arrangements to visit the top three sites before making their decision.

All entries must be submitted by August 6 with completed entry forms. There will be a prize for first place in each category and certificates may be issued for second and third places and highly commended entries.
