Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on the B4576 in Ceredigion, shortly before 3.15pm on Friday, April 29.
The incident occurred just south of Aberystwyth, between Llanfarian and Llangwyrfon, and involved a silver Honda motorcycle and a black BMW.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "Tragically, the 62-year-old male rider of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene.
"The driver of the BMW is helping us with our enquiries.
"If you witnessed this collision, or have any dash camera footage which could help us, please contact Dyfed-Powys Police."
