A police investigation has been launched after a sheep was found killed and skinned in the Pen-y-Bont area of Carmarthenshire.
Dyfed-Powys Police have released a picture of the skin, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The Rural Crime Team posted on their Twitter site on Tuesday afternoon: "Warning; some may find the following image upsetting.
"We are investigating an incident whereby a sheep has been killed and skinned in the Pen-Y-Bont area of Carmarthenshire.
"The incident occurred overnight on Sunday 6 February."
