MEMBERS of Ceredigion Labour Party have welcomed their party’s new co-operation agreement with Plaid Cymru in Cardiff Bay.
In a statement they said: “This far-reaching and radical agreement shows what our Welsh democratic institutions are capable of.
“We would like to specifically welcome the announcement on Universal Free School Meals, a campaign that we have supported now for many months.
“Also of note is the agreement surrounding a new National Care Service, showing yet again the value of a 'cradle to grave' welfare approach, in stark contrast to the news coming out of Westminster.
“It is clear, that the Welsh Government is taking effective, and radical action to ensure the best for the people and communities of Wales."
Ceredigion Labour Party Chair, Jan Culley, said: "I welcome this great step forward in Welsh politics and I am proud to be a member of Plaid Llafur led by Mark Drakeford.
“These radical policy announcements demonstrate that the Welsh Government seeks actively to 'level-up' and improve the lives of many - rhetoric is thankfully being left behind in Wales.”
