Aberaeron bowed out of the Emrys Morgan Cup as Dyffryn Banw staged a determined second-half fightback to secure their progress into the fourth round with a battling 3-2 win.

Goals from Chris Alldritt and Llewellyn Lloyd gave the Seagulls the lead, only for Banw to hit back through Tom Foulkes and Joe Evans, before James Huxley completed the comeback.

Hay St Marys meanwhile booked progress with a 3-1 win at home to Costcutter Ceredigion League side Lampeter Town.

Goals from Jack Biggs, Matty Tong and Jack Cook secured the win, to cancel out Jason Jones' goal for the visitors.

Mid Wales League West side Newcastle Emlyn marched on with a solid 4-1 win over Llanidloes Town Reserves under the floodlights on Friday night.

Elsewhere Talgarth Town completed a cup shock as they eased to a comprehensive 5-1 win at home to Llansantffraid.

Harry Dunn fired the Saints ahead but Talgarth stormed back with Rob McNamara starring with a hat-trick while Harry Sharman and Joel Weale strikes completed the cup upset.

Joey Price starred with four goals as Radnor Valley eased to a 5-1 win at Forden United with Geraint Lloyd completing the tally while Alex Morgan netted a consolation for the hosts.

Tywyn Bryncrug survived a scare in a 3-2 win at home to Meifod.
Ben Holt netted twice with Aled Jones also on target for the home side but Meifod were always in the hunt with Phil Hughes bagging a double.
