Promoted Crymych continued their unbeaten start in the Costcutter Ceredigion League division one with a 5-0 thumping of established campaigners Llandysul.

The Preseli men,. who had notched a 4-0 win over tier four side Knighton Town in the Emrys Morgan Cup the previous week, led 2-0 at the interval with goals by Sion Vaughan and Rhodri George.

The hosts continued to dominate in the second half with goals by Gethin Evans, with a brace, and Rhodri George with his second of the game.

Llanboidy occupy second spot, a point behind Lampeter Town, after a comfortable 5-1 away win over Dewi Stars at Llanddewi Brefi.

Stars went ahead early through Gethin Thomas, but the Carmarthenshire visitors led 2-1 at the interval through leading marksman Ifan Phillips and Steff Williams.

It was one-way traffic towards the Stars goal during the second half with Llanboidy goalkeeper Bleddyn Williams a virtual spectator.

Goals from Gethin Scourfield, Tom Rogers and Ifan Phillips, with his second goal near the end, sealed the win.

The other game between winless Cardigan Town and Ffostrasol was goalless, while the clash between Crannog and reigning champions St Dogmaels was postponed.

In division two, newcomers Llechryd made it four wins from four with a 6-2 win over visitors Pencader.

For the Teifi villagers, who led 2-1 at half time, Daniel Jones hit a hat-trick and Josh Grota, William Jones and Rhys McGrath also scored.

Crannog Reserves drew 3-3 at Maesglas Reserves, with goals from Jacob Forbes, Robbie Evans and Huw Morgan. Kieran Harman and Marcus Dean netted for the hosts.

In division three, Daniel Blain scored a hat-trick as Llanboidy Reserves won 4-0 at Felinfach Reserves, with Dion Morgan also netting.

Michael Wilcox also scored a treble as Ffostrasol Reserves beat Maesglas Reserves 9-1, with Carwyn Griffiths, Kieran Ellis, Daniel Jardine, Steffan Davies, Cai Edwards and Llyr Jones also finding the net. Aled Watkins got the consolation reply.

Sion Evans and Lewis Sim both scored twice as Llanilar Reserves won 4-1 against Crymych Reserves, who scored through Rhys Vaughan.

In Emrys Morgan Cup action, Felinfach hammered Bont of the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League 10-2.

Aled Davies led the way with four goals, Cameron Miles scored twice, and Paul James, Joe Jenkins, Josh Davies and Huw Davies completed the rout. Daniel Owen and Glyndwr Hughes replied.

Aberporth were unable to raise a side to face New Quay, whilst Builth Wells won 3-1 away at Tregaron Turfs.
