A NEW art gallery has opened in Cardigan.
Vlad-Art is based at 4 Priory Street which for the past 14 years has been owned by Labels for Less.
However, in less than a fortnight Vladislas Paisiewicz has transformed the shop into a beautiful gallery with the help of friends and family.
The gallery will be exhibiting original paintings from Vlad-Art, together with sculpture work from a local artist Mark Weeks, of Aberporth Bay Art, and pottery from Duncan and Sharon Browning.
In addition, Vladislas will be displaying and selling the photography of his friend, Stewart Readman.
A Cardigan-based artist, Vladislas has been actively selling his work in outlets in and around town for several years, and although he hopes this will continue, is now happy to be running his own gallery where he can exhibit a large range of his original paintings.
It is believed that this gallery will be the first of its kind in Cardigan, where you can pop in and actually see the artist at work!
Vladislas is inspired by the beauty of the surrounding area. He paints in oils, the outstanding beauty of the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastline and its wildlife.
Vlad can also print copies of original paintings and frame them in-house.
