A RHYDLEWIS double-glazing business has donated glass to the RNLI look out station at New Quay after it was targeted by vandals.
MasterFitter Windows, who have just opened a new showroom at Rhydlewis, stepped in on learning that all the station’s windows had been broken.
Director Arron Clegg was alerted to the situation by his dad, Andy, a long-time supporter of the RNLI.
“I’m lifeboat-mad and when I heard about what had happened to the lookout station it just seemed like the right thing to do,” Andy told the Tivy-Side.
“It seems such a small gesture when you consider the amazing work the RNLI undertake around our coastline all year-round.”
