CARDIGAN town mayor Cllr Clive Davies has spoken of his satisfaction at seeing one of his final projects as mayor - the completion of work at the King George V playing fields – reach fruition.
“With a focus for the outdoors and the well-being of Cardigan I felt it was important to get this project completed even with the complications of Covid,” he told the Tivy-Side.
“There are three bikes left to install, which allow mobile phone charging - these will be located in the top corner of Victoria Gardens.
“I visited the playfields a few times in the last few weeks and talked with parents.
“There was very positive feedback and it’s obvious by the numbers using the park that this is a popular project.
“Thank you Eleri, the town clerk, for your support in co-ordinating the funding and also to Dave and the team from Adventure Playground Wales.”
