HOUSEHOLDERS in Carmarthenshire are being reminded that there are changes to bin collections over the Easter holidays.
From Friday, April 2 until Friday, April 9, collections will take place one day later than usual. So, for example, if your collection is due on Friday it won’t be picked up until Saturday and so on.
These changes also affect garden waste collections.
Please put your bins out by 6am on the day of collection, and remember, the maximum number of black bags you can put out is three a fortnight.
Please recycle as much as possible and remember to put those easter egg boxes and foil in your blue bags and any food waste in your green bins.
Glass bottles and jars can be recycled at your nearest glass recycling bank; visit the recycling pages on the council website for locations.
Recycling centres are open over the Easter period. For opening times and to book an appointment please visit the website or call 01267 234567.
